RECIPES !! (except the fact idk how to cook..)

Tomato soup

uhh there is this pretty average recipe and my family liked it but idk if you will but here it is

Ingredients:

  • 3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

  • 1 yellow onion chopped

  • 6 garlic cloves minced

  • 2 cans whole peeled tomatoes 28-ounce per can

  • 3 cups water or chicken stock

  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar

  • ½ teaspoons ground black pepper

  • salt to taste

  • ¾ cup heavy cream

  • fresh basil chopped

  • preparation ♥♥♥

In a large Dutch oven (or any cooking pot rlly), add n combine the olive oil and butter. heat on medium heat until the butter is melted. Add the onion. Cook, stirring frequently, until softened, about 8 minutes. Stir in the garlic and cook for another 5 minutes or until very fragrant and just starting to brown.

Add the tomatoes. Swirl the cans with some of the chicken stock to get the rest of the tomato juices and pour into the pot with the remaining stock. Stir in the sugar and black pepper. Bring to a boil, about 10 minutes. Reduce the heat to medium-low and continue simmering for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from the heat.

Using an immersion blender (its like the electric hand mixer thingy or jus search it up), pulse the soup until smooth or your desired consistency. (I do not recommend transferring the soup to a high-speed blender as blending olive oil can turn it very bitter. Mash with a potato masher to break up the tomatoes instead.) Taste and add salt, if needed. Stir in the cream. Serve immediately topped with fresh basil.

if y'all want tips and notes 4 your soup here, makes it better istg

Blending olive oil can make it bitter, so I don’t recommend using a high-speed blender to puree the soup. If you don’t have an immersion blender and want to blend the soup for a silky smooth texture, use vegetable or grapeseed oil in place of olive oil or use all butter.
Avoid aluminum, cast iron, and copper pots as these materials could react with the tomatoes and leave the tomato soup tasting metallic.
For more basil flavor, you can add a few extra sprigs of basil near the end and simmer for a few additional minutes. Remove them before blending to make a tasty homemade tomato basil soup.
Swap the heavy cream for half and half if you prefer a lighter soup.

    Pasta !!

throw in some olive oil, make it heat a little.

toss in thinly sliced garlic, lots of it, u can use around 5 cloves for like a serving or two

some cherry tomatoes,, as well as a GENEROUS amount of salt (put to ur liking)

also u might need to burst a few of the tomatoes, but most of them will just burst on their own and let out that typa moisture n tomato juice

now add some sliced chilli, or a few sprinkles of chilli flakes literally anything chilli like that if u want it a little mild.

    some fresh basil leafs

if u want some more protien in this,, you should definitely add shrimp, best type of protien source in pastas (use that instead of ur musty dry chicken [sorry])

p.s; sundried tomatoes work as well, if u want. if u like cheese,, add only a LITTLE bit, please dont add to much it'll get ruined,, AND ADD A LOT OF PESTO !! i jus noticed how FLAVOURLESS this is w out pesto😡😡

now,, you can finally add your pasta, any type counts.and smth REALLY important us pasta water,, gonna make it thick.

now just toss or mix everything until everything is smooth.

enjoy guys,, dont sue me if u dont like.

its shrimp teriyaki time yall ‼️😻

spoilerr spoilerrr this is how it looks when u put way too much soy sauce like how an idiot like me would do (tbh tastes really good liek that so i recomend adding extra soy sauce to that mix ‼️

woww chef work mmmmm m mm mmmmmm mm m m mmmmmmmm

      in a bowl add:

    • 1 tsp lemon juice
    • 1/4 cup soy sauce
    • 1/2 brown sugar
    • 1/2 or 1 tbsp of honey (optional)
    • 2 small cloves of garlic
    • few pieces sliced ginger
    • some teriyaki sauce (optional cz soy sauce is enough)

now put ur shrimp in a different bowl and add a few tablespoons of that sauce, not a lot, just a few add some black pepper on thet meat

now add salt it’s actually REALLY optional bc it’s already salty enough marinade it in that sauce for 5-10 mins

NOW add the shrimp on a pan with some oil, cook it on medium to high heat, saute shrimp BRIEFLY ok? just for that colour 2-4 mins total depending on size, the 4 minutes are for the bigger shrimp

when the shrimp has some colour or starts to curl plz hurry up and flip it (when it’s done remove it)

in a separate pan add the sauce or in the same pan if u removed the meat. now u can remove the garlic and ginger btw !! Add vegetables and stir fry it for a while until it’s cooked. Add the shrimp, mix it around and ur done !!
